Use This Profile Quick Start Guide...

 

The Essentialsâ„  toolkit is a set of free tools available within the professional dashboard to help you improve your online presence and build trust and credibility. Enhance your listings, manage ratings, reviews and recommendations, send reports to clients, and much more!

STEP 1: GET YOUR ACCOUNT UP AND RUNNING

Sign up for a free professional account at dashboard.realtor.com. Upon completion, you’ll receive immediate access to your dashboard where you can:

  • Update profile: Look your best on realtor.com®! Click Profile > Manage Profile. Upload your agent and background photos. Click Change on the right hand side of the About me section to add your bio, zips you serve (for courtesy leads), and links to your website, social media and blogs. Remember to click Save!

  • Member of the NAR? Your NRDS ID can be added under Profile > Manage Profile > Expertise. By adding your NRDS ID, your profile will display in the Find a REALTOR® search and will include your NAR Designations, Certification and languages.
  • Manage settings: Click your agent photo (or avatar icon) in the upper right corner > Settings to set your preferences for email notifications and automatic updates from your MLS or broker.

  • Lead settings: Get notified by email or text when you have new leads from realtor.com. Click your agent photo in the upper right corner > Settings > Lead Settings. Use the Toggle to enable text messages and courtesy leads. Click the Change link below each section to customize your preferences. Don’t forget to click Save after you modify each section!

STEP 2: MAKE YOUR PROFILE STAND OUT

realtor.com® is rated the number one site where consumers found their agent* – make your agent profile stand out above the competition so you don’t miss out on new business.

  • Request Ratings & Reviews: 84% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations from real people.** Build your credibility and grow your business by including reviews from real clients. Navigate to Profile > Ratings & Reviews .to request reviews from verified clients.
  • Add Recommendations: You can also boost your profile with recommendations from friends, family, and colleagues. Navigate to Profile > Recommendations to add them manually or import from RealSatisfied™.

STEP 3: MANAGE CONTACTS AND DELIGHT CLIENTS

Deliver valuable content to your leads and clients to stay top of mind. You can even leverage your seller reports as a tool to help you win your next listing in listing appointments.

  • Manage contacts: Leads generated on realtor.com® will appear in the Contacts section. You can also manually add contacts to keep all your leads in one place, with contact info, reminder tags and handy notes.
  • Enhance your listings: Click Listings to view your For Sale, Sold and For Rent listings on realtor.com®. Hover over a listing and click the pencil icon to add additional photos, an expanded description, open house information, virtual tours and more.
  • Setup Seller Reports: Showcase your marketing efforts and let your clients know how many views and inquiries their listing is getting on realtor.com®! On the Listings tab, click the Add Seller link on a specific listing to set up the report. Add the contact/s you’d like to receive the report, personalize your message, and choose how often you want the report sent. Selected contacts will receive an email inviting them to log in to their free realtor.com® account to view the report.
